2.1
Important notes
Important information on copyright, liability and war-
ranty provisions, as well as on the user group and com-
pany obligations, can be found in the separate manual
"Important notes on and safety instructions for brake
Test Equipment". These instructions must be carefully
studied prior to start-up, connection and operation of
the PSC 2 and must always be observed.
Assemble and/or repairs must only be performed by
trained and instructed service technicians or authorized
companies. If the units are opened or modified by unau-
thorized persons, any warranty claims become void.
Electrical systems and devices must only be put into
operation when in proper operating condition (details
see
EDIS information
200108_084). This requirement is
met if following modification or repair (initial testing)
it is ensured that the requirements of the electrical
engineering directives were adhered to. Perform tests
performed, the nature and extent of which are based
on the measures specified in the electrical engineering
directives (e. g. in Germany DGUV Regulation 3). In Ger-
many, the type and extent of the tests are described in
VDE 0701/0702 Part 1. The relevant national directives
must be complied with.
The edge of a working pit must be permanently marked
using warning paint (DIN 4844) and recognizable at any
time.

2.2
Safety instructions
All safety instructions can be found in the separate
manual "Important notes on and safety instructions for
brake Test Equipment" (user information, order number
1 691 696 920). These instructions must be carefully
studied prior to start-up, connection and operation of
the PSC 2 and must always be observed.
