General
Problem
Cause & Solution
y The power cord is not plugged in. Plug in the power cord.
y Check whether electricity failed.
No Power.
y Check whether you select right function.
No sound.
y If not, connect speaker cables correctly.
y An unplayable disc is inserted. Check the playable disc.
y No disc is inserted. Insert a disc.
The unit does not start
y The disc is dirty. Clean the disc. (Refer to the 27 page)

y The disc is inserted upside down.
y The antenna is positioned or connected poorly.
y The signal strength of the radio station is too weak.
Radio stations cannot
be tuned in properly.
y No stations have been preset or preset stations have been cleared (when
y The remote control is too far from the unit.
y There is an obstacle in the path of the remote control and the unit.
The remote control
does not work properly.
y The batteries in the remote control are exhausted.
y Check whether the woofer is connected to the unit correctly.
Sub woofer does not

y Check the woofer status and press WOOFER ON/OFF.
Check the condition by operating other electronic devices.
Press FUNCTION and check the selected function.
Speaker cables connected correctly.
Place the disc with the label or printed side facing upwards.
Connect the antenna securely.
Tune to the station manually.
