INSTALLATION

Clean the hub face to remove any dirt or corrosion
where the rotor mounts.

Identify the left and right side rotors and choose
the correct rotor for the side of the vehicle. The
illustration (7) shows the direction of rotation
when the vehicle is moving forward.
10. Identify the left and right side calipers and choose the
correct caliper for the side of the vehicle. The calipers
are marked with L and R stickers. Remove the L and
R stickers before installation.
11. Place the caliper onto the rotor and install the rotor (4)
onto the hub and bearing.
12. Install two NEW caliper mounting bolts, replacing the
bolts previously discarded. Tighten the bolts to 175 N·m
(129ft-lbs).
13. Install retaining bolt (3) and tighten to 20 N m (177
in-lbs).
14. Install the caliper end of the brake line by first
placing a copper crush washer on either side of the
banjo fitting, then inserting the banjo bolt (8) into the
caliper. Ensure the line is routed upwards.
15. Tighten the banjo bolt (8) to 19 N ·m (14 ft-lbs) using a
12mm wrench.
NOTE:
Use the brake line locating feature and ensure the line is not twisted.
