STEP 7
7.1 - In general
- All programming procedures in this manual can be performed exclusively
with a transmitter memorised as described in paragraph 9.5 (the transmitter
supplied is already memorised in this mode).
- As in programming via radio signals can be captured by all receivers in the
operating range of the transmitter, before starting the programming proce-
dure, disconnect the power supply of any automations not involved in the
programming.
- The shutter/awning/screen positions specified in the manual ("0", "1", "H")
correspond to those shown in fig. 2.
- Strictly observe the time limits specified in the procedures.
7.2 - Motor signals
During the memorisation and programming procedure, the motor performs a
set number of small movements in response to the command sent by the
installer. There are 3 types of movement, according to the duration (fig. 3):
- VIBRATION (= very quick movement): the motor usually performs this move-
ment at the start of a procedure to indicate that it is ready for programming,
such as activation/deactivation of an option or memorisation of a value.
- SHORT MOTION (= lasting approx. 0.15 seconds): the motor usually per-
forms this movement during the intermediate phases of a procedure, indicat-
ing that programming has not yet been completed.
- LONG MOTION (= lasting approx. 0.3 seconds): the motor usually performs
this movement at the end of a procedure, indicating that programming has
been completed successfully.
Caution!
- The direction of travel is not important (up or down), but it is important to
count the NUMBER OF MO TIONS performed.
- 1 motion forward and 1 motion back correspond to 2 motions.
7.3 - Other motor signals
- The motor implements two very short interruptions at the start of the
manoeuvre and then re sumes movement = no limit switch is memorised.
- The motor implements one very short interruption at the start of the
manoeuvre and then re sumes movement = only 1 limit switch is memo-
rised.
- Keeping the control key pressed (hold-to-run mode) the movement is
started but is interrupted shortly afterwards without completing the
ma noeuvre = the memory of RMEN should be cleared (read paragraph
9.10) and reprogrammed.
7.4 - Identification of transmitter keys
In the manual, the transmitter keys are referred to with the symbols ▲ , ■ , ▼
for numbers 1, 2, 3, 4. To locate these keys on your transmitter, refer to fig. 4.
