2. Wipe the cooking plates with a soft cloth to remove any food residue. For
baked-on food residue, apply warm water mixed with detergent or place wet
kitchen paper over the food residue to moisten it. Then clean it with a
non-abrasive plastic scouring pad.
3. Do not use any abrasive cleaning materials as these can scratch or damage
the non-stick coating.
4. Do not use metal utensils to remove your food as these can damage the
non-stick surface.
5. Wipe the outside of the sandwich maker with a damp cloth only. Do not
clean the outside with an abrasive scouring pad or steel wool as this will
