Troubleshooting Guide
PLEASE
CHECKTHE
FOLLOWING BEFORE
CALLING
YOURSERVICE CENTER
Before
troubleshooting,
the pool cleaner must be disconnected from the power supply
and
the power
supply
must be unplugged from the electncal outlet to prevent damage to the
unitand possible personal
injury.
1.
Unit does not pump water or move:
a) Check
to see if eleclnc outlei
has power.
b) Check if transfonner
is
plugged inlo
a
grounded
outlel and
the cable
assembly
is plugged inlo
the
Iranslonner:
cl Switch the
power supply ·OFF"
and
·ON"
a
few
limes.
Allow 45
seconds
between
·ON"
and ·OFF".
d)
Check
for and remove
any
debns such
as
hair,
slnng, or
leaves thai may be
obslrucling
the
free movemenl of Ihe wheels.
2. Unit does not pump water at all, or pumps slowly but moves:
a) Check to see
if
propeller is seized due to
accumulation of
hair or debns
on Ihe
propellers. Remove
the
lop
screw
on Ihe
outlel
lop
and clean
the propeller.
When reassembling
the lop
cover,
do nol
overtighlen
the
screw.
b)
Check 10
see
if the filter
bags are thoroughly
clean.
Clean
as
necessary.
cl
If a and b are
negative,
check
the pump molor. If they are nol functioning send
the unit to
your
service
center.
3.
Unit does not move but does pump water:
a)
Check
10
see if forwardireverse molion is obstrucled by foreign matter; hair,
debris, ete.
on
wheels or there is an entanglement with the power
cord.
b)
Check
there
is
no debns
sluck
inside the
wheel
between gears
c)
Venfy
if
the
rolling brush is property positioned
and
nol broken. The brush is
lransferTing the
rolalion
10 Ihe
wheels and
"
~
broken·
the
robot
will
not move
property.
d) Check
the
molor.
~
is
nol functioning,
send
the unil
10 your service
cenler.
4. Climbing
Model
Only· Unit does not climb the wall:
a) Check to see if
the
filler bags are thoroughly clean. Clean as
necessary.
5. Unil does not pick up dir! and debris:
a) Check
2a
and
2b of
this
guide.
b) Exlend
Ihe waler
inlake
(see
page
3)
c) Check the
Filter Intake
Valve
Flaps on the underside of
your
unit
(see
image
bellow).
The
Flaps should
move freely
10 open
and
close.
Clean
and free the
Valve
Flaps
if
necessary.
6. Unit does not seem to cover the entire pool:
a) Mosl likely
a
Ihorough cleaning
of
the filter is needed.
b) Venfy that the unit rotales by 90 degrees
while
luming.
If nol·
add or
remove
Hoals
according
to
the
instruetions on page 4.

c)
Check
to
see Ihat
Ihe Hoating
cable
is
property spread oul and is
untangled.
d) Allow the unit 10 run
in
the pool for the
entire
cleaning
cycle.
e) Check
thai the
Molor is
operating.

section 2
of
this guide

After
following
all of
Ihe
above, if there is
slill
a
problem,
call your
dealer
for
specific additional assislance.
7. Debris Comes Out Cf The Unit When Removing II From Pool
a) Filler lock
lever (Top
Access
Lid
Does Not
Close
Property) • Check thaI
the
Lock release mechanism
is
not damaged. The lid edges should be aligned
with Ihe unit's body and the top filter
is property
locked.
b) Intake
Valves
• Check thai the Filter Intake
Valve
Flaps
(see image
5
)
move
freely to
open
and
close. Clean flaps
~
necessary.
