1.
Place a container on the scale.
2. Press the ZERO button to tare the container weight.
Press the ZERO button again every time a new item
is added to the container. (See Figure 5)

AUTO SHUT-OFF
Scale will automatically turn off after approximately
2 minutes of inactivity.
To cancel auto shut-off, while scale is off, press and hold
the lb./kg. button. While still holding lb./kg. button, press
the ON button until "A_Of" is displayed. The scale will
remain on until manually turned off.
To reactivate auto shut-off, turn scale off and on again.
CARE AND CLEANING
1.
Protect your scale from shock overload, liquid spills,
extreme temperatures and other abuses.
OPERATING ISSUE
Numbers will not display or scale is displaying vendor
model number.
Inaccurate or irregular weights.

CALIBRATION
1.
Plug AC adapter into outlet. Turn scale off.
2. Press the ZERO, lb./kg. and ON buttons at the same
time, release after the scale turns on, LCD displays
"4010/4040" –' "CAL" –' "U 07."
3. The scale then shows a value between "700F~9F00."

The value should be hexadecimal.

4. Press the ZERO button, LCD displays "C100/C200" –'
"0." See table for appropriate weights.

5. Add weight to the scale. LCD displays a value
between "90F~2FF0/1F00~4F00." The value should
be hexadecimal.
6. Press the ZERO button, then LCD displays "End" and
turns off.
MAINTENANCE
2. Preserve the finish of the scale by wiping with damp,
soft cloth and mild, nonabrasive detergent.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Remove and reinsert the cord going into the display.
The scale must be on a stable surface. Rocking or swaying can
cause irregular weights.
Position scale away from all heat and air ducts, open doors and
windows causing drafts or temperature changes. Scales are sensitive
to climate.
Make sure scale is turned on with nothing on the platform. Any item
on the platform will cause irregular weights.
The weight capacity has been exceeded. Remove weight from
scale.
Negative weight. To adjust, press ZERO.
Blinking means the battery is low. Replace batteries.
