Changing tools

Before changing tools, read "2.8 Safety regarding maintenance".
This illustration shows how to change the tools.

1 Insert the segment at the widest part of the slot
2 Push the segment outwards
3 The segment is now fit on the Scan-On plate
To make sure that the tool is secured, use a small plastic hammer and slightly hit the tool out-
wards. In reverse this technique can be used to loosen tools that are stuck.

Using with generator

The generator must be equipped with protective earth and operated in accor-
dance with the current EN-VDE directives (this applies to the protective earth con-
ductor in particular) in order to ensure that all safety devices are functioning and
eliminate possible damage to electrical components.
