Lubrication
Remove hammer case to apply lubrication. Grease the anvil, impact mechanism assembly
and gears. Apply grease evenly and sparingly. An excessive accumulation of grease will
result in sluggish operation. See drawing 16573388 on page 2. Maintenance frequency is
shown in circular arrow and defines as h=hours, d=days, and m=months.
Instructions for Charging Battery
Do not charge the battery pack when the temperature is below 50°F (10°C) or above
104°F (40°C).
Charge new battery packs before using.
Charging time is approximately 60 minutes.
Action
Plug the charger into
the appropriate power
outlet.
Insert the battery pack
into the charger.
Remove battery pack
when ready for use.
