Tilting and folding bicycle carrier back
The bicycle carrier can be tilted to fi t and remove bicycles.
Risk of injury!
Slowly tilt the bicycle carrier and ensure that no person or
object is within the tilt area. There is a danger of people
or objects being crushed within the tilt area. Ensure that
the bicycle carrier engages fully and locks into both hooks
when folding back the carrier, otherwise there is a danger
that the bicycle carrier will tilt while driving and cause
injuries to you or other persons and/or cause damage.

Tilting bicycle carrier
1. Operate foot lever (26) and tilt the bicycle carrier (8) by
pulling on the carrier frame or bicycle frame.

Folding back bicycle carrier
1. Fold back the bicycle carrier (8) so that both hooks (27)
engage fully and lock into the frame (28).
2. Shake the bicycle carrier (8) to check it is seated correctly.
Tilt the bicycle carrier (8) again and then fold it back if
necessary.
Preparing for journey
Risk of accident and injury!
Check all bolted connections and fastenings of bicycle
carrier for tightness after each assembly, before every
journey and during longer journeys. Retighten if necessary.
Repeat the checks at regular intervals, depending on the
road surface/conditions. The lighting must also be checked
before each journey to ensure it is working correctly. Not
adhering to these checks may allow the bicycle carrier
along with the mounted bicycles to loosen and detach from
the vehicle and cause injuries to you, the occupants of the
vehicle and/or cause an accident.
Caution
The registration plate and the lighting equipment of the
bicycle carrier must not be covered.
If the bicycle carrier is not fully loaded, ensure the following
is observed:
• Holders not required are fully closed and locked
• All keys are removed and stored
• Holder for third bicycle is stored
• Tensioning straps for all wheel rails are closed and secure
Removing bicycles
Remove bicycles in reverse order.
