6.2.2 Time zone
> After setting up the Country, set up the time for the local time zone using the right/left arrows.
The diff erence for Poland is +1 hour in the winter and +2 hours in the summer.
6.2.3 Date/time
In this menu item the user can decide whether the date and time are to be called up automatically or
from the set programme after start up.
6.2.4 Remote control code
In this line the user can choose whether the receiver is to be ascribed to the remote control function
SAT1 or SAT2.
> To enable that function, press and hold the remote control CODE button and press OK until the pro-
per code lights up.
6.2.5 Quick start
This line enables activation and deactivation of Quick start. If the Quick start is activated, the device
starts up faster from standby, but it uses more power in the standby mode.
6.2.6 Auto standby
Activating automatic standby enables the device to automatically switch to standby mode after a set
time if the device has not been operated during that time.
6.3 Video confi guration
To optimally adjust the digital receiver to the TV set, additional settings are available in the Image Con-
fi guration menu.
6.3.1 Image format
> Image format can be adjusted to the 4:2 or 16:6 TV set using the right/left arrow keys.
This function makes it possible to automatically adjust the image format to the TV set.
6.3.2 Zoom mode
In this setting the user can decide on the way programmes broadcast in 4:3 format (the most frequent
TV format) are displayed on the panoramic 16:9 TV screen.
6.3.3 HDMI resolution
> Pressing the OK button opens the window with available resolutions.
6.4 Sound settings
To optimally adjust the digital receiver to the TV set, additional settings are available in the Sound
Confi guration menu.
