necessary to remove the hose adaptor (6) from motor housing (1).
For best results:
1) Always use the correct size impact type socket.
2) Use extra deep sockets in place of extension bars where
possible.
3) Do not use oversized, worn or cracked sockets.
4) Hold the wrench so the socket fits squarely on the fastener. Hold
the wrench firmly, but not too tightly, pressing forward slightly.
Dismantling & Assembly Instructions
These impact wrenches are composed of three major mechanisms
as follows:
1. Air Inlet Mechanism.
2. Motor Mechanism.
3. Impact Mechanism.
4. The combined assembly of Air Inlet Mechanism, Motor Mechanism
and Impact Mechanism.
Disconnect tool from air supply.
Dismantling Hammer Mechanism Step.
Use spanner to unscrew 2 screws w/ spring washer (30) and
2 screws w/ spring washer (48) from clutch housing (31), and
take out suspension bail (47), clutch hous-ing (31), anvil (34 or
46), roll pin (37), spring (35), clutch dog (36), ball (39), timing
shaft (38), rotating spacer (40-01), coupling (40) and ball bearing
(19) in turn.
Dismantling Motor Mechanism Step.
Unscrew 4 screws w/ spring washer (30) from housing cover
(28), and take out housing cover (28), Gasket (27), upper end
plate (25), liner dowel pin (20), rotor (22), rotor vanes (23) and lower
end plate (21) in turn.
Dismantling Air Inlet Mechanism Step.
1. Unscrew air inlet (06) from the end of the handle of motor housing
(01) and take out spring (05), throttle valve pin (03) and throttle
valve (04) in turn.
2. Loosen exhaust diffuser assembly (54).
3. Take out roll pin (11) from motor housing (01) and release trigger (13).
4. Take out roll pin (12) from motor housing (01) and take out
reverse valve (14), spring (17) and lock pin (18) in turn.
Reassembly
Disconnect tool from air supply.
Air Inlet Mechanism:
1. First, place throttle valve bushing (02) into the motor housing (01),
and insert trigger (13) into the front groove of motor housing (01),
then take roll pin (11) to fix inside of trigger (13); and assemble
with throttle valve pin (03) and throttle valve (04) together, and
install to motor housing (01) that should be passed the inner hole
of throttle valve bushing (02).
2. Place the pointed side of spring (05) to face the hole of motor
housing (01), and place air inlet (06) into it to lock in order.
3. Place exhaust diffuser assembly (54) into motor housing (01) and
lock in tightly.
4. Place O-ring (16) into the round groove of reverse valve (14).
Insert spring (17) and lock pin (18) inside the front pin hole of
motor housing (01) in order, and insert reverse valve (14) into
motor housing (01) afterward to put roll pin (12) into motor
housing (01) to fix with the reverse valve (14), and complete the whole

assembly of the air inlet mechanism.
Motor Mechanism:
1. Press ball bearing (26) inside the hole of upper end plate (25).
Take the grooved point of rotor (22) go through the inner hole of
ball bearing (26).
2. Place cylinder liner (24) inside upper end plate (25) horizontally,
then put six rotor vanes (23) inside the groove of rotor (22) in turn.
Press the curved groove of lower end plate (21) to confront with
cylinder liner (24) and pass through the rotor (22) to fix onto the
upper side of cylinder liner (24). Take liner dowel pin (20) through
lower end plate (21), cylinder liner (24), upper end plate (25) to-
gether to complete the whole assembly of the motor mechanism.
Impact Mechanism:
1. Slip on rotating spacer (40-01) into the front indent groove of the
coupling (40) to finish coupling assembly (56) work in turn.
2. Install ball (39) into the interior of clutch dog (36), plug in timing
shaft (38) into clutch dog (36), and pass through the inner hole of
clutch dog (36). Take coupling assembly (56) into the rear gear
end plate of clutch dog (36) to pierce through the end plate of
timing shaft (38).
3. Put spring (35) to pass through timing shaft (38) and put them on
the upper side of clutch dog (36). Then insert the roll pin (37) on
the front top semicircle shape of timing shaft (38).
4. Slip on O-ring (42 or 44) and socket retainer (43 or 45) into the
top groove of the anvil (34 or 46).
5. Take the bottom pin hole of anvil (34 or 46) to slip onto timing shaft
(38) to complete the whole assembly of the impact mechanism.
Combined Assembly of Air Inlet, Motor and Impact Mechanisms:
1. Set clutch housing bushing (33) and seal (41) inside of clutch
housing (31).
2. Take the front gear side of motor mechanism to assemble into
air inlet mechanism, and put gasket (27) onto the back plain
side of motor housing (01), and put housing cover (28) onto
the plain side of gasket (27) and secure housing cover (28)
using 4 screws w/ spring washer (30).
3. Set ball bearing (19) into motor housing (01) and pierce through the
gear side of rotor (22) to keep horizontally with lower end plate (21).
4. Install the bottom gear wheel of coupling (40) of the completed
impact hammer structure on gear wheel shaft of rotor (22).
5. Set gasket (32) onto the front plain side of motor housing (01),
and insert clutch housing (31) into motor housing (01) to put them
onto gasket (32).
6. Put suspension bail (47) onto the top of clutch housing (31) that
should be fitted in on the top screws of motor housing (01). Use
2 screws w/ spring washer (30) and 2 screws w/ spring washer
(48) secure clutch housing (31) to motor housing (01).
