Note: Check the seal for damage before
assembly. Make sure that the nibs fit
exactly into the recesses (Figure 19a).

Insert the base of the blade through the
opening at the bottom of the bowl.

Apply the blade securing element
(flower-shaped nut) with the unlabelled
side facing the base of the blade.

Turn
the
counterclockwise until it locks into place.
Hold the blade on the inside of the bowl
while doing so.
Check that the blade has been correctly

installed by letting go of it and briefly
turning the blade securing element. The
blade must turn with the securing
element.
Note: To remove the blade, complete the
above steps in reverse order.
Never activate the device without a
correctly inserted blade.

2.2.2 CONNECTING THE POWER
SUPPLY
Before connecting the power supply,
ensure that the local mains voltage

matches the voltage required by the
device.
Always check the power cable for
damage before using the device. If

power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its
after-sales service or by similarly
qualified personnel in order to avoid
hazards.
The device is operated with mains voltage.
Complete all preparatory work (section 2.3
ff.). Then connect the mains plug to the wall
socket.
Risk of electric shock! An electric
current passes through the base unit

during operation. Never immerse the
