2.3.3 HEATING

The procedure for heating meals is the same
as for steaming (section 2.3.1). During
step 2, ensure that the water tank is only
filled up to level 1. The approximate heating
time is 10 minutes.

2.3.4 DEFROSTING

The procedure for defrosting frozen meals is
the same as for steaming (section 2.3.1).
During step 2, ensure that the water tank is
only filled up to level 1. The approximate
defrosting time is 14 minutes. Unused
condensed water can be disposed of.
Note: The device is not suitable for
defrosting liquid foods (e.g. breast milk).

2.3.5 SMOOTHIES

You can also use the NUK Baby Menu to
blend raw fruit and create smoothies.
Recipes can be found in the included recipe
book.
1. Remove the blending blade (if fitted) and
attach
the
section 2.2.1).
2. Place the ingredients directly into the
bowl.
Note: The addition of water may be
necessary to achieve optimum results.
3. Apply the lid to the bowl and turn it anti-
clockwise until it locks into place
(Figure 6).
4. Place the bowl on the base unit and
secure it with a quarter turn anti-
clockwise (Figure 7).
5. Connect the device to the power supply.
6. Turn the rotary switch to the left or right,
depending on the desired speed setting.

7. Repeat step 6 until you have achieved
the desired consistency. Then disconnect
the device from the power supply.
Note: If necessary, use the spatula to
achieve
(Figure 14).
8. Remove the bowl from the base unit with
a quarter turn clockwise (Figure 8).
9. Remove the lid with a quarter turn
clockwise and lift it up. Remove the
finished smoothie. If necessary, use the
spatula to empty the bowl (Figure 4).
10.Clean the spatula and attach it to the rear
of the base unit (Figure 12).
