Before each use of the pneumatic system dry the condensed humidity inside the tool, the compressor and the conduits.
Preparation for work
The tool must be lubricated each time before it is used. If in the supply system of the tool is a lubricator, then it is not necessary to lubricate it during everyday work.
Place the tool with the air supply inlet directed upwards and place 4-5 drops of SAE 30W oil without detergents. Do not use oils containing detergents, oil additives or oils
for pneumatic tools. Such oils contain solvents which might damage the internal elements of the tool.
When it is done, connect the device to the pneumatic system and start it for a while. It will permit to spread the oil inside the tool and eliminate its excess.
NOTE! An excessive quantity of oil coming out of the tool might cause damage to the working surface. Excessive lubrication might cause coming out of oil during normal
operation. Insuffi cient lubrication drastically reduces the life of the tool, and it may cause damage to the tool, which consequently might imply a danger during work.
Connection of the tool to the pneumatic system
Secure an appropriate attachment to the thread of the air inlet in order to connect an air supply hose. (II)
The drawing shows the recommended method of connection of the tool to the pneumatic system. The indicated method permits the most effi cient operation of the tool,
prolonging at the same time its life. (IV)
Connect the tool to the pneumatic system using a hose whose internal diameter is specifi ed in the table. Make sure the resistance of the hose is not lower than 13.8 bars.
Operation of the tool
Place a nail in the grip of the tool, so as the sharp end points outside. The grip has a magnet, which will hold the nail.
Press the tool against the place where the nail is going to be driven and push it until the hammer is activated. (V)
If the nail has been driven too deep, the pressure in the system should be reduced progressively in steps of 0.05 MPa, until the required depth has been achieved.
If the nail protrudes from the processed object, the pressure in the system should be increased progressively in steps of 0.05 MPa, until the required result has been
achieved. Do not exceed the maximum pressure. It is recommended to apply the lowest possible pressure for the given task, which will permit to save energy, reduce the
noise and the wear of the tool, and increase the safety of work.
MAINTENANCE
Never use gasoline, solvents or other infl ammable liquids to clean the tool. The vapours may ignite causing an explosion of the tool and serious injuries. Solvents used to
clean the grip and the body of the tool may soften the sealing. Before work, dry the tool thoroughly.
In case any irregularities in the operation of the tool are detected, the tool must be immediately disconnected from the pneumatic system.
All the elements of the pneumatic system must be protected from dirt. Any impurities in the pneumatic system may damage the tool and the elements of the pneumatic
system.
Maintenance of the tool before each use
