Pacer mode provides beeps to help you pace your run or other activity. Press MODE repeatedly
until PACER appears.
Press LAP/NEXT to select number of beeps per minute (30 - 240).
Press START/STOP to start/stop pacer.
You may change number of beeps per minute while pacer is running by pressing LAP/NEXT.
If you exit mode, pacer stops automatically.
Unit has 7 weekly alarms. Press MODE repeatedly until WEEKLY ALARM appears.
To set an alarm:
1) Press LAP/NEXT to select alarm to set AL-1 to AL-7.
2) Press and hold RESET/ADJUST. Day of week flashes. Press START/STOP to change day of week.
3) Press MODE. Minutes flash. Press START/STOP to change minutes; hold button to scan values.
4) Press MODE. Hour flashes. Press START/STOP to change hour (including AM/PM).
5) Press LAP/NEXT, at any step, to select whether alarm is referenced to home time or TIME 2.
6) Press RESET/ADJUST, at any step, when done setting.
Alarm is automatically turned on after setting (ON appears). To turn alarm on/off, press
START/STOP.
Alarm icon a appears in Time mode when any alarm for the displayed time (home time or
TIME 2) is on.
When alarm sounds, press any button to silence. If no button is pressed, alarm will sound for
20 seconds.
Alarm repeats weekly unless turned off.
Unit has one daily alarm. Press MODE repeatedly until DAILY ALARM appears.
For operation, see WEEKLY ALARM section. Setting procedure is identical, except step 1 is
skipped.

INDIGLO® NIGHT-LIGHT WITH NIGHT-MODE® FEAT U R E
Press INDIGLO® button to illuminate display for 3 seconds.
Electroluminescent technology used in the INDIGLO® night-light illuminates entire
display at night and in low light conditions.
Press and hold INDIGLO® button for 4 seconds to activate NIGHT-MODE feature.

night-light for 3 seconds. NIGHT-MODE® feature may be deactivated by pressing and holding
INDIGLO® button again for 3 seconds, or it automatically deactivates itself after 3 hours of
inactivity.
Unit is designed and manufactured to give you years of service if handled properly. Do not subject
unit to physical or mechanical shock or abuse, or extreme temperatures or humidity. Do not
tamper with its electronic parts as they are not user-serviceable.

1. Watch is water-resistant only as long as lens, push buttons and case remain intact.
2. Watch is not a diver watch and should not be used for diving.

Unit is powered by 2 lithium CR 2032 batteries, which should provide up to 2 years of life,
depending upon use of INDIGLO® night-light and alarm. When display becomes dim or blank,
replace batteries. Unscrew 6 small screws on case back and remove back. Loosen (do not
remove) screws holding metal strips over batteries and remove batteries. Replace batteries with
new ones and reverse process above.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERY IN FIRE. DO NOT RECHARGE. KEEP LOOSE BATTERIES AWAY
FROM CHILDREN.
WARNING: Once case back is opened, it is not possible to maintain water resistance. Do not
submerge in water after changing batteries.

Your TIMEX® watch is warranted against manufacturing defects by Timex Corporation for a period of ONE YEAR from the
original purchase date. Timex and its worldwide affiliates will honor this International Warranty.
Please note that Timex may, at its option, repair your watch by installing new or thoroughly reconditioned and inspected
components or replace it with an identical or similar model. IMPORTANT — PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS WARRANTY DOES
NOT COVER DEFECTS OR DAMAGES TO YOUR WATCH:
1) after the warranty period expires;
2) if the watch was not originally purchased from an authorized Timex retailer;
3) from repair services not performed by Timex;
4) from accidents, tampering or abuse; and
5) lens or crystal, strap or band, watch case, attachments or battery. Timex may charge you for replacing any of these
parts.

to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from country to country

To obtain warranty service, please return your watch to Timex, one of its affiliates or the Timex retailer where the watch was
purchased, together with a completed original Watch Repair Coupon or, in the U.S. and Canada only, the completed original
Watch Repair Coupon or a written statement identifying your name, address, telephone number and date and place of
purchase. Please include the following with your watch to cover postage and handling (this is not a repair charge): a US$ 7.00
check or money order in the U.S.; a CAN$6.00 cheque or money order in Canada; and a UK£2.50 cheque or money order in
the U.K. In other countries, Timex will charge you for postage and handling. NEVER INCLUDE A SPECIAL WATCHBAND OR ANY
