This section contains the product description and instructions for installing the
NVIDIA Graphics Adapter and software.
Product description
The NVIDIA Graphics Adapter uses the GeForce2 MX
superior performance with digital video and 3D graphics. The graphics adapter
features 256-bit graphics processing for 3D and 2D graphics acceleration. It also
features second-generation Transform and Lighting engines. The graphics
adapter MPEG-2/DVD motion compensation feature enhances full-motion
video playback.
The graphics adapter uses Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) 4X technology. It
also has a 700-Mtexel fill rate and 20 Mtriangles per second setup. The video
performance enables a range of applications, from 3D games to video
conferencing. The graphics adapter also supports DVI-D interface on digital
monitors.

Preparing for installation
Before you install a graphics adapter, you must take the following precautions
to prevent static electricity from damaging electronic parts:
v Before touching any electronic parts, drain the static electricity from your
body. You can do this by touching the metal frame of your computer.
v Do not remove the graphics adapter from the antistatic shipping container
until you are ready to install it. When you remove an adapter from your
computer, place it back in its original container.
v When handling the graphics adapter, hold it by its edges, and avoid
touching its circuitry.
