ATTENTION!
Incorrect measurement due to force shunts
If the cable of the cabled remote display is
touching the weighing platform, the weight
measurement will be incorrect.
– Route the cable in such a way that it cannot
touch the weighing platform.
WARNING!

The voltage supplied by standard power supply
units may be higher than their indicated rating.
This may cause the scales to overheat, catch
fire, melt or short-circuit.
– Only use genuine seca plug-in power supply
units with 9V or a controlled 12 V output
voltage.
Various models are equipped with an E-block
rechargeable battery. The battery is charged automati-
cally if the power supply is established via plug-in
power supply unit. Leave the product connected to the
power supply for at least 24 hours during operation in
order to fully charge the battery block.
WARNING!
Electric shock
Electronicseca devices are not currentless
when the power button is pressed and the dis-
play is turned off. The application of liquids on
the device may cause an electric shock.
– In order to make the device currentless,
disconnect the power supply unit from the
mains prior to each hygienic reprocessing.
– Ensure that no liquids enter the device.
