INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BEFORE USE:

- Make sure that all the product's packaging has
been removed.
- Ensure the auxiliary handle is fitted correctly
before use.
- Prepare the appliance according to the function
you wish to use:
FITTING SAFETY DEVICES
- Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
unplugged before carrying out any work on the
tool.
FITTING THE DISC GUARD (FIG 2)
Never use the machine without guard. Keep
guards in place.
The guard should be positioned so the closed
side of the guard points towards the operator.

- Fit the collar of guard (E) on the flange of the
appliance.
- Turn the guard to the desired working position.
- If the guard doesn't fit in the flange, loosen the
bolt (F) with the allen wrench (L).
- Tighten the bolt (F) with the allen wrench (L) in
order to fix and secure the guard.
FITTING THE DISC GUARD (FIG 2)
- Unplug the appliance from the mains. Use of the
auxiliary handle is obligatory in order to ensure
greater control and safety when handling the
tool. The auxiliary handle (D) must be screwed
on to the right or left side, depending on the
type of work to be carried out.
FITTING THE ACCESSORIES (FIG 3, 4, 5)
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Block the spindle (J) by pressing the Spin-
dle blocking button (C). The spindle must be
stopped before pressing the spindle blocking
button.
- With the Tightening key (G) remove the clamp-
ing nut (H) from the spindle (J).
- Assemble the tool on the support plate (I).
- Assemble the clamping nut (H) using the tight-
ening key (G). The position of the clamping nut
(H) will depend on the thickness of the tool (see
fig 4 and 5).
- Once the tool is assembled check if the spindle
blocking button (C) has return to its original
position.
USE:
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Turn the appliance on, by pressing the lock lever
(A) and the trigger switch (B) simultaneously.

- To switch the appliance off press the control
switch (A) to unlock the switch. Then release
the pressure on the control switch (A).(Fig 1)
- Be careful of the shavings that fly off. Hold the
tool that so the sparks fly away from you, other
people or inflammable materials.
- When carrying out grinding operations, it is
advisable that the angle between the surface
and the disc is approximately 30º - 40º for the
best results.
- When cutting, do not press on the disc. The
discs should not move sideways or oscilla-
te. The tool should advance smoothly at the
beginning and later moderately and adapted to
the type of material. The tool should move in the
opposite direction to the advance of the disc,
never in the same direction, as there would be
a risk of the machine dumping out of the cutting
line in an uncontrolled manner.
- The appliance is equipped with a soft start
device that limits the engine starting torque, wait
until the apparatus has reached the rated speed
before starting to work with it.
- To rotate the rear handle depress the button (K)
and rotate the handle until it locks into position.

ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE
APPLIANCE:
- Switch off the appliance
- To switch the appliance off press the control
switch (A) to unlock the switch. Then release
the pressure on the control switch (A).(Fig 1)
CLEANING
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains and
allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning
task.
