Check to ensure that the voltage indicated on the type plate matches that in the installation
location.
The device must be secured with an earthing switch. Earthing the device is a legal
requirement.
The electrical connections must comply with local standards.
This water dispenser was designed and constructed in accordance with the Low Voltage
Directive 2006/95/EC and the protection regulations of the EC directive 2004/108 EMC.
Caution!
In the event of any use other than for the intended purpose, e.g. the use of the water
dispenser for the treatment of water which is not of drinking water quality, drinking this water
may constitute a danger to health:
» microbiological risk as a result of exposure to pathogenic germs
» risk due to high concentrations of heavy metals or organic contaminants
Before maintenance work is carried out on the drinking water supply, disconnect the device
from the water supply. Rinse the water pipe before the device is reconnected.
Comply with all country-specific installation regulations (e.g. DIN 1988, EN 1717), general hy-
giene conditions and technical data relating to the protection of drinking water.
The materials of the water dispenser which are in direct contact with the water comply with
the regulations and and common food industry standards. The device was manufactured
according to the provisions of the Italian Ministerial Decree D.M. 174 of 06/04/2004 and D.M. 25
of 07/02/2012.
Avoid storing the device for unnecessarily long periods in order to minimise the risk of
microbial contamination.
The lines of the coolant circuit must not be damaged because they are filled with R134a gas,
which is highly inflammable. Check the lines on a regular basis.
Set up the unit in a clean, dry and well-ventilated room. The AQA drink Pro 20 water dispenser
is designed for room temperatures of between 5 °C and 32 °C – climate class N.
Do not set up the unit near sources of heat or open flames.
Chemicals, solvents and vapours must not come into contact with the device.
The installation location must be protected from frost and direct sunlight.

4.1 WARRANTY AND DISCLAIMER
The AQA drink Pro 20 water dispenser has a 2-year warranty. The specified information and rec-
ommendations, as well as the local drinking water and waste disposal regulations valid for the
application in question, must be complied with. All information and instructions in these installa-
tion and operating instructions take account of applicable standards and regulations, the state
of the art, as well as our many years of knowledge and experience. Illustrations in this manual are
intended to provide a basic understanding and may vary from the actual design of the device.
No claims may be derived from this. BWT can accept no liability for damage or consequential
damage due to:
» non-compliance with the information given in these installation and operating instructions;
» use for purposes other than the intended purpose;
» incorrect or faulty installation;
» incorrect commissioning, operation and maintenance;
» use of components that have not been approved;
» non-performance of the prescribed service and replacement work;
» unauthorised technical or mechanical changes or modifications.
4.2 RESPONSIBILITY OF THE OPERATING COMPANY
» The installation and operating instructions must be kept in the immediate vicinity of the de-
vice and must be accessible at all times.
» The device may only be operated in a technically correct and operationally safe condition.
» The information in these installation and operating instructions must be complied with, at all
times.
4.3 LICENCE TERMS
The installation and operating instructions are protected by copyright. The transfer of these
instructions to third parties, reproduction of any kind – including extracts – as well as the
exploitation and/or disclosure of the content are not permitted without the written consent of
the manufacturer. Any breach or infringement will result in liability for damages. We reserve the
right to assert further claims.
Note!
With the acquisition of the AQA drink Pro 20 water dispenser, the user receives an exclusive,
nontransferable right to use the software installed by the manufacturer.
4.4 QUALIFIED PERSONNEL
Only trained personnel and staff may install, put into operation and maintain the water dispens-
er. The trained person has been informed of the tasks entrusted to him/her, and of possible
dangers in the event of improper use or behaviour. Trained persons are in a position to install,
put into operation and maintain the device on due to of their technical training, knowledge and
experience as well as knowledge of the applicable regulations.

Define clear guidelines for the relevant responsibility for operation, installation, maintenance
and repairs.
