5. INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING
Note!
The following laws must be observed while installing and operating of the system:
» Technical rules for drinking water installation.
» Ordinance relating to the quality of water intended for human consumption (drinking water
ordinance).
All delivered AQA drink Pro 20 water dispensers comply with the EU Directives 2011/65/EU
and 2015/863/EU on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and
electronic equipment.
Prior to installation, read Chapter 2 "Technical data" and Chapter 4 "Operating/Safety Instruc-
tions."
Set up and operate the device in a vertical position.
Do not place the device directly against a wall. Leave a distance of at least 15 cm.
5.1 UNPACKING THE AQA DRINK PRO 20 WATER DIPENSER
Remove your device from the packaging. Check that the shipment is complete and has not been
damaged in transit. Defective parts must be replaced immediately.
5.2 PREPARING THE AQA DRINK PRO 20 WATER DISPENSER
Place the device on a level surface or on the AQA drink Pro 20 cabinet (optional).
Table-top unit
Position the drip tray in the intended place below the water outlet.
Stand-alone device
The cabinet includes a second drip tray; this must be used in conjunction with the cabinet. The
second drip tray is connected to the wastewater tank, which is mounted in the cabinet. Con-
nect the prepared plug in the cabinet to the water level sensor mounted in the wastewater tank.
5.3 INSTALLING THE FILTER
EN
Observe the installation and operating instructions for the installation of filters. We recommend
using BWT filters, which are ideally suited for the device.
5.4 CONNECTING THE WATER AND FILLING THIS SYSTEM
Caution!
When installing accessories (hoses, connection kits), observe the installation dimensions and
bending radii.
A new connection kit (connection pieces, seals and hoses) must be used to connect the device
to the water supply. Do not use a used connection kit!
To connect the device, use only hoses that comply with DVGW W 543 (DVGW – German Tech-
nical and Scientific Association for Gas and Water).

Caution!
Observe the manufacturer's warnings and transportation and storage regulations.
Protect gas cylinders from excessive heat, mechanical damage and corrosive substances.
Do not connect or store gas cylinders in zones with an increased fire hazard.
Place gas cylinders at a distance of at least 0.5 m from radiators.
Place gas cylinders so that they are easily accessible.

In the event of leaks or fire: close the cylinder valves immediately. Cool heated cylinders with
water.
In workshops and laboratories, set up only as many reserve cylinders as you need for continu-
ous operation.
Do not oil or grease cylinder valves.
Close the cylinder valves when the unit is to be decommissioned or when the gas cylinders
