INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Designed to grate any type of hard cheese or cheese that is not too soft. GRATI' can also be used
for dry bread, almonds, walnuts etc...
IMPORTANT: Carefully wash all removable parts before using, as described in the section entitled
"CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".
IMPORTANT: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER CORD FROM THE ELECTRICITY MAINS BEFORE
FITTING OR REMOVING SINGLE ATTACHMENTS OR BEFORE CLEANING THE APPLIANCE.
IMPORTANT: Before proceeding with use, make sure that you have correctly fitted all parts, as
described here below.
IMPORTANT: Do not try to grate soft cheese, as this will only clog the roller!
- Cut the cheese into cubes, remove any rind and place the cubes inside the hopper assembly (I).
- Plug the appliance into the power mains and press the switch (O). The switch will then light up.
- To start the motor and begin grating, lower the lever (G) with the hand grip (H) and press it against
the cheese (Fig. 2).
IMPORTANT: For the appliance to work, all parts must be fitted correctly and if not, make sure that
container (A) has been inserted into the relevant compartment as described below (Fig. 10-11).
IMPORTANT: The on/off switch (O) will stay lit, even if the appliance is not operating, i.e., with
the lever (G) raised or the container (A) not inserted or inserted incorrectly.
- For operating at intervals, it is sufficient to lift the lever (G); the appliance will be ready to use until
the switch is pressed (O).
IMPORTANT: To avoid overheating the appliance, do not use it continuously for longer than 5
minutes, and then allow it to cool down before reusing it.
