T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Open the rear door and fold down rear seats remove the
rear threshold plate, anchor bolts from each side of the rear
body trim panel (3 driver's side & 2 passenger's side), and
driver's side utility cover panel.
3. Carefully separate the trim panel from the vehicle body
while not damaging any trim clips in the process to gain
access to the vehicle's wiring harness connected to the
taillights.
4. On the driver side & passenger side disconnect the
taillight socket connectors that match the connectors on the
T-Connector assembly taking care not to break the locking
tabs. Inspect the connectors for dirt & debris and clean if
necessary.
5. On the driver side connect the T-Connector end with the
Yellow wire in between the vehicle wiring connectors and
lock into place. Check the connectors to be sure that they are
fully connected with locking tabs in place.
6. Route the T-Connector end with the Green wire under the
carpet and under the rear threshold to the passengers side.
Repeat step 5 for connection proceedure.
Caution: Make sure to avoid areas that could cut,
pinch or burn the wires when routing the harness
across the vehicle.
