T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Open the vehicles trunk and remove the
threshold trim plate (Fig. 2B). Carefully
pull back the carpeting covering the back
of the vehicle tail lights (Fig. 2).
3. Locate the wiring harness connectors
attached to the rear of the tail light
housings. They will be similar in design
to those on the T-Connector harness (Fig.
2A).
4. Starting on the left (drivers) side, disconnect the connector
from the tail light housing by pressing on the connector
locking tabs and carefully pulling the connectors apart.
Caution: Take care not to damage any
locking tabs.
5. Insert the T-Connector ends containing the
yellow wires between these separated ends,
ensuring that the locking tabs engage.
6. Route the remainder of the T-Connector
assembly to the right (passenger) side of the
vehicle.
7. Remove the connector from the passenger side tail light
housing and insert the T-Connector ends with the green wires between the
separated ends.
8. Locate existing ground stud. Loosen bolt, place grounding eyelet on stud
and re-tighten bolt.
Caution: Take care to re-place all exisiting ground eyelets on
ground stud.
9. Disconnect the vehicles Negative (-) battery cable. The battery is located
in the trunk on the right (passenger) side (Fig. 2C).
