T-Connector Wiring Kit
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Read instructions thoroughly before beginning.
2. Ford Freestyle: Open the vehicle's
rear hatch and remove the threshold plate
(Fig. 1A). Carefully pull back the interior
trim panels on each side (Fig. 1B) taking
care not to damage the fasteners.
2. Ford Five Hundred: Open the
vehicle's trunk and remove the threshold
plate (Fig. 2A). Carefully pull back the
trunk liner on each side (Fig. 2B).
3. Beginning on the left (driver's)
side, locate the vehicles tail light
wiring harness. The harness will have
connectors similar to those found on the
T-Connector harness (Fig. 3).
4. Carefully separate the vehicle
harness connectors, taking care not to
damage the locking tabs.
5. Position the T-Connector ends with
the Yellow wire between these separated ends and
carefully press firmly together until the locking tabs engage.
6. Ford Freestyle: Locate a clean accessible mounting
location on the vehicle near the wiring harness ends within
reach of the white wire and grounding eyelet. Remove any
debris or undercoating to expose a clean metal surface and
