1 Introduction
The Sandberg Laptop AC Adapter (referred to
as "the power supply") is an inexpensive
alternative to an original power supply and you
won't notice any difference in performance. This
is the perfect opportunity to get an extra power
supply, e.g. for work or study purposes, or to
replace the original if you've lost it. The power
supply can be set to 15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22 or 24
volts, so it's suitable for most laptops. The
connector from the power supply can be adapted
to fit your laptop by swapping it with one of the
many connector types enclosed. It is also
possible to charge other devices via the built-
in USB port.

2 Connection IMPORTANT! READ THIS
BEFORE YOU CONNECT ANYTHING!
2.1 Laptop computer
1. Find out what the required supply voltage (V)
is for your laptop computer. You will normally
find this marked on the bottom of your laptop
or in the documentation that came with it.
2. IMPORTANT: Set the slider on the side of the
power supply to the number of volts that your
laptop computer needs. This should be either
15, 16, 18, 19, 20, 22 or 24 volts.
3. Select the adapter out of the eight enclosed
which fits the power socket in your computer.
You MUST then check whether your laptop
has a + on the inner pin and a – on the adapter
jacket. If this is NOT the case, this power
supply must NOT be used. Connect the adapter
to the cable on the power supply (note the
thick and thin pins to keep the adapter the
right way round). Then insert the adapter into
your computer's power socket.
4. Connect the power supply to the mains. The
power supply, via a travel adapter, can also
work with all mains voltages from 110 VAC to
260 VAC 50-60 Hz.
Your laptop computer will now receive power.
2.2 USB device
The power supply has a USB connector. This
enables you to charge devices which can be
charged via USB.
NB: The USB connector is for power purposes
only. Data cannot be carried through the
connector.
