Take it to a local, civic waste collection point.
The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE) requires that all used household appliances are not disposed of along with
ordinary household waste. Used appliances must be collected separately in order to
maximise recovery and recycling of their constituent parts and thus reduce their impact
on health and the environment.
