3.2. PREPARING FOR USE/DEVICE USE
MSW-SWH-20
Before use:
Open the drain valve (turn the narrower side of the
lever clockwise, no more than 2 full rotations).
With the arm fully retracted, locate and remove the
oil filter plug. Insert the lever into the sleeve and then
pump from 6 to 8 strokes. This will help release any
compressed air that can be trapped in the tank. Make
sure that the oil level is just below the filler opening
and then reinstall the oil filter plug.
Pour a small spoon of a good quality air tools grease
into the air inlet of the lifting control valve. Connect
the air supply, then wait about 3 seconds in order to
distribute the grease evenly.

Rev. 27.09.2018
Check whether the piston of the jack moves freely
and that the device operates smoothly.
Lifting:
a)
Connect the two parts of the lever together (until the
safety key click is heard).
b)
Secure the load against unintentional movement or
movement in the course of operation of the device.
c)
Place the jack in the desired location.
d)
Close the drain valve by turning it clockwise.
e)
Mount and secure the lever in the lever sleeve.
f)
Press the lever or gradually increase the air supply to
the device (by pressing the lever of the lifting control
valve) until the saddle of the jack touches the load. In
order to finish the work it is necessary to release the
control valve lever.
g)
Lift the load to the desired height then immediately
secure the load with supports.
Lowering:
a)
Raise the load minimally so that the safety supports
will be safely removed.
b)
Mount the lever in the drain valve and turn it anti-
clockwise not more than half of rotation.
c)
In the event of the jack failure in the course of lifting of
the vehicle (e.g. self-activated lowering of the height)
it is necessary to immediately place supports under
the vehicle and use another device in order to safely
lower the raised vehicle.
d)
Then, carefully remove the damaged device (while
slowly turning the drain valve, turn the narrower side
of the lever by no more than 1/2 of rotation) and then
lower the load by means of the next device.
e)
After removing the jack from under the load, push
the lever downwards and retract the piston and / or
extension of the piston in order to avoid any exposure
of elements to rust or contamination.

3.3. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Use cleaners without corrosive substances to clean
each surface
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
before reusing it.
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
Never spray the device with water jets.
Keep the levers and adjustment elements clean, free
of lubricant residues.
Rotary elements and/or contact surfaces shall be kept
clean, free of rust traces and periodically protected
with thin films of specialistic oil.
In case of longer device disuse, protect it with grease
for the storage period. To ensure safe use, remove the
grease excess before reuse.
Before start of changing the oil, the piston and saddle of
the jack must be maximally lowered and the compressed
air supply disconnected
Use only a good quality hydraulic oil. Avoid mixing different
types of liquids. Do not use any brake fluid, turbine oil,
transmission fluid, engine oil or glycerine. Unsuitable fluids
can cause permanent damage to the jack or lead to sudden
and unplanned lowering of the load.
