1.0 IMPORTANT RECEIVING INSTRUCTIONS
Visually inspect all components for shipping
damage. If shipping damage is found, notify the
carrier immediately. Shipping damage is not covered
by warranty. The carrier is responsible for the repair
and replacement costs resulting from damage in
shipment.

cautions carefully before operating this
product. Follow all safety precautions to
avoid personal injury or property damage during
system operation. Enerpac cannot be responsible
for damage or injury resulting from unsafe product
use, lack of maintenance or incorrect product and/or
system operation. If in doubt about safety
precautions or application, contact ENERPAC for
guidance. TO PROTECT YOUR WARRANTY,
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS AND ONLY USE
FLUIDS RECOMMENDED BY ENERPAC.

2.0 SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING: Always ensure all the system
components are rated to the pump
pressure. Do NOT exceed the pressure
of the lowest rated component; the
maximum pump pressure is stamped on the pump
end plate.
IMPORTANT: Do not overload the
system. The pump relief valve only gives
protection to the pump and NOT the
system.
WARNING: Before operating the pump,
ensure it is securely mounted and will not
slip during operation causing personal
injury.
WARNING: Only use the pump handle
provided with the unit. Always secure the
handle to the pump shaft with the washer
provided.

gauge in the system to indicate safe
operating loads.
CAUTION: If flexible hoses are present in
the system, ensure they have a 4:1 safety
factor, are not kinked and are free from
damage to the outer covering. Hose
failure can cause serious injury.
