operating
the

avoid using it for long periods of
time. Permanent vibration is very
harmful.
A massive load of vibrations may
damage nervous and circulatory sys-
tems, particularly to whom have cir-
culatory problems. Inform your doc-
tor if any symptoms arise caused by
vibration. Among these symptoms,
that occur specially on fingers,
hands and wrists, is also included
loss of sensation, pain muscle weak-
ness, skin discoloration or tingling
sensation.
Materials containing asbestos can-
not be worked. Asbestos is carcino-
genic.
Avoid using the machine on surfaces
coated with paints containing lead
or other materials harmful to
health. Any contact or inhalation of
dust may cause allergic reactions
and / or breathing diseases. Wear a
mask and work with a dust extrac-
tion device if the machine allows it.
2.5 - MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before cleaning, adjusting, repairing
and maintenance works, the power
cable must be unplugged.
Replace worn or damaged parts im-
mediately, so that the machine is al-
ways in a safe operating condition.
Cleaning:
The machine must be carefully
cleaned after each use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning prod-
ucts. These products may damage
plastics and metals, compromising
the safe operation of the machine.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described
in this instruction manual may be
carried out; all other works must be
performed by an official distributor.

tightened in order to ensure a safe

If any components or safety devices
are removed

The maintenance of machines with
double insulation requires an ex-
treme care and knowledge of their
system, and should only be per-

3. ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 - FOLDING SUPPORT ARM
ASSEMBLY (FIG. B)
1. Remove the sander from the box;
2. Pull the folding arm (3) and fasten
it with the locking hook (10);
3. Make sure that both ends are
aligned and the locking hook is well
engaged.

TELESCOPIC
ASSEMBLY (FIG. C)
1. Insert the telescopic extension
(7) into the fitting (14);
2. The telescopic extension has a
hole that defines the maximum al-
lowed extension. When the exten-
sion is inserted into the fitting, the
limiting button (15) secures the ex-
tension to the maximum extension
position;

3. Press the locking button to re-
lease the extension and adjust to
the desired position;
4. Tighten the locking nut and fixing
lever (8) of the telescopic exten-
sion.
3.3 - SANDING DISC ASSEMBLY
(FIG. D)
1. Adjust the sanding disc over the
velcro pad (12, 13);
The sanding disc holes must match
the velcro pad perforations. Other-
wise, the suction capacity decreases
and increases the formation of dust;
2. Press the entire disc area to at-
tach the sanding disc (16) to the vel-
cro pad.
To avoid damaging to the velcro
when replacing the sandpaper, pull
it holding the pad. Remove the
sandpaper, hold the velcro with the
other hand and then remove the re-
maining sandpaper. This procedure
increases the velcro pad durability.
Do not use sanding discs larger than
the sander's technical specifica-
tions. When choosing the discs fol-
low the sander's technical specifica-
tions. Sandpapers larger than the
velcro pads can cause blockages, re-
sulting in disc failure or kickbacks.
Choose the sanding disc (sandpaper
grit) in accordance with the kind of
work that will be performed.
