Check that all parts are included in the package.
The illustrations are used for different instructions and
may therefore vary between engine models. However, the
essential information is correct.
This kit contains:

NOTE! Components marked with an asterisk (*) are not
included in the kit.
Removal / Installation
1. Remove the engine's original filter; see fig. 3.
Lift the engine cover (1), release the hose clamp (2) and pull
off the air filter (3) toward the pipe to the crankcase oil trap.
2. Loosely fit the hose clamps for the
turbocharger/crankcase oil trap. See figure 3
3. Insert the smaller pipe section into the crankcase oil
trap and then
slide the larger pipe section over the turbocharger inlet.
Align the pipe height wise so that it corresponds to the
chosen position for the air filter and then tighten the hose
clamps by hand.
Note that the pipe can be cut at the filter end in order
to achieve a suitable length between the engine and the
chosen position.
4. Fit the air filter housing onto the connection pipe so that
the housing inlet collar is completely covered by the pipe.
See figure 4
5. Hold the air filter against the bulkhead/installation surfa-
ce. Mark out the holes for the air filter housing attachment
with a pen. Remove the air filter and drill the holes. Check
that no dirt
gets into the inlet pipe (protect the inlet against dirt).
6. Slide on the hose clamp and reinstall the air filter
housing on the pipe. Adjuster housing so that the drilled
attachment holes are in the right position.
Tighten the air filter housing bolts (M8).
(Refer to bolt tightening table in fig. 4)
7. Tighten the hose clamp by hand.
IMPORTANT! The air filter insert is no longer the origi-
nal D3. The new part number for the air filter insert is
21702999 when performing service.

wesentlichen Angaben sind jedoch zutreffend.

Einbauanleitung
HINWEIS! Mit einem Sternchen (*) gekennzeichnete Bau-
teile sind nicht im Satz enthalten.
Ausbau/Einau
1. Das Originalfilter des Motors ausbauen; siehe Bild 3.
Die Motorabdeckung (1) anheben. Die Schlauchschelle
(2) lösen und das Luftfilter (3) in Richtung des Rohres zur
Ölfalle des Kurbelgehäuses ziehen.
2. Die Schlauchschellen für die
Ölfalle des Turboladers/Kurbelgehäuses lose anbringen.
Siehe Bild 3.
3. Den kleineren Rohrabschnitt in die Ölfalle des Kurbel-
gehäuses einsetzen, und dann
den größeren Rohrabschnitt über den Einlass des Turbo-
laders schieben.
Die Rohrhöhe so ausrichten, dass Sie der gewählten
Position des Luftfilters entspricht, und dann die Schlau-
chschellen von Hand anziehen.
Beachten Sie, dass das Rohr am Filterende abgeschnit-
ten werden kann, um
eine geeignete Länge zwischen dem Motor und der
gewählten Position zu erreichen.
4. Das Luftfiltergehäuse am Anschlussrohr anbringen,
sodass der Gehäuseeinlasskragen vollständig vom Rohr
abgedeckt wird. Siehe Bild 4.
5. Das Luftfilter gegen das Schott/die Einbaufläche halten.
Die Löcher für die Befestigung des Luftfiltergehäuses mit
einem Stift markieren. Das Luftfilter abnehmen und die
Löcher bohren. Stellen Sie sicher, dass kein Schmutz
in das Einlassrohr gelangt (den Einlass vor Verunreinigun-
gen schützen).
6. Die Schlauchschelle aufschieben und das Luftfilter-
gehäuse wieder am Rohr einbauen. Das Gehäuse so
justieren, dass sich die gebohrten Befestigungslöcher in
der richtigen Position befinden.
Die Schrauben (M8) des Luftfiltergehäuses anziehen.
(siehe Tabelle in Bild 4 für den Schraubenanzug)
7. Die Schlauchschelle von Hand anziehen.
WICHTIG! Der Luftfiltereinsatz ist nicht mehr das D3-Original.
Die neue Artikelnummer für den Luftfiltereinsatz ist
21702999 beim Ausführen der Wartung.
