To deactivate the timer, press and hold the TIMER/SLEEP button until
from the display.
Setting the sleep function
While the unit is on, press the TIMER/SLEEP button
to activate sleep mode. Press / or /
repeatedly to set the desired sleep time. You can
choose between 120, 90, 60, 30 or 15 minutes. If
you set the desired time to 0, the sleep mode is
disabled.
Note: If the CD/iPod playing time is shorter than your selected sleep time, the music
will stop at the end of the disc. Sleep mode will not force the CD in to repeat mode.

TUNER OPERATION

1. Press the  STANDBY button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the TUNER button to select TUNER mode.
3. Press BAND repeatedly to select your desired band.
Manual searching
Briefly tap the / or / button step by step to alter the reception frequency
downward or upward until you receive the desired station.
Automatic searching
1. Press and hold / or / approx 1 second to start automatic search in
the desired direction. The automatic search operation only detects strong stations.
You need to tune in manually to weaker signals.
Note: During automatic searching the volume will be automatically muted.
Saving stations in tuner memory
1. Tune in to the desired radio station.
2. Press the MEMORY/CLK.ADJ. button. A memory
number blinks in the display Press M-DN/
FOLDER- or M-UP/FOLDER+ until the desired
memory position appears in the display.
3. Press MEMORY/CLK.ADJ. again to store the
station at the selected position.
4. In order to store remaining stations repeat above
steps 1 to 3 until the memory is full.
Note: You can store up to 20 stations for both FM and AM frequencies. If you want to
overwrite an existing preset, you can just follow steps 1 to 3 and select the desired
number. The new station will overwrite the old one.
