Stretcher Assembly Replacement
1.
If chair has arms, remove them, see page 5.
2.
Adjust chair to maximum seat height.
3.
Turn chair upside down and set on stand or table.
4.
Remove Synchro Pivot Pins on either side of chair control by
removing retaining clips on inside ends of pivot pins then use
a screw driver or punch and mallet.
5.
Remove chair control, column, base assembly from top plate
stretcher assembly.
6.
Remove two seat attachment screws from rear plate assembly.
7.
Remove top plate /stretcher assembly from upholstered seat
assembly by sliding out of pockets in inner seat and rotating
out of outer shell
8.
Install new stretcher assembly into upholstered seat
assembly by sliding flanges fully into molded pockets
and installing seat screws. Install new synchro bearings from
inside the top plate/stretcher
9.
Install chair control/column/base assy. by inserting front flange
of chair control housing into the plastic bumper/slide
bearing at front of top plate stretcher assy. Install the synchro
Pivot Pins on both side of chair control using small
hammer or mallet. Install retaining clips on inside ends of
synchro pivot pins.
10.
Re-install arms, if chair has arms. See page 5.
