This antenna is a DAB receiver antenna for
the frequency ranges Range III and L-band
with a base that adheres magnetically to
steel plating.
Optimal dimensions and a low-loss
connection cable ensure the best reception
characteristics.
We provide a manufacturer guarantee for our

Safety Notes
When passing through underground pas-
sages, the overall height of the vehicle from
the lane level up to the top of the radiator
has to be observed.
The magnetic antenna must always
be removed before using a car wash.
To ensure no interference is caused, antenna
cables must be laid at a sufficient distance
from cable harnesses. Use cable grommets
to protect cables against sharp-edged holes.
Disconnect the negative terminal of the
battery before carrying out installation
and connection work.
Observe the vehicle manufacturer's safety
instructions (regarding airbags, alarm sys-
tems, trip computers, vehicle immobilisers).
When drilling holes, take care to avoid dam-
age to vehicle components (battery, cables,
fuse boxes).
Warning:
The magnetic antennas must be kept
away from products which react sen-
sitively to magnetic fields.
The powerful magnetic field of our mag-
netic clamp antennas can influence the
functioning of sensitive products, such as
for example pacemakers, mechanical
clocks, chip cards, audio / video cassettes
etc.
Installation
Positioning
-
The vehicle's roof is the ideal place to
attach the magnetically adhering anten-
nas.
-
The intended location has to be free of
metallic particies, water, ice, snow and
dirt. The antenna should be posioned in
such a way that a maximum of 15 cm
of cable can be freely guided between
the antenna and the door sealing
(fig. 1).
-
The cable should be lay in the area of
the fond doors preferably. Excessive
crushing of the cable should be
avoided, since this will inevitably to per-
formance losses.
Attaching and removing the
antenna
In order to prevent damage to the paint, we
recommend to fold the antenna during in-
stallation or removal (figures 2 and 3).
We do not assume any warranty or guaran-
tee for damages coused by improper instal-
lation or use or by use other than for the
intendet purpose.
