Preparation
Fitting:
For hatchback and estate vehicles, remove the parcel shelf
(consult the vehicle handbook for instruction).
Pass the top-tether strap under the vehicle headrest (c).
Remove the headrest if it interferes with the strap (consult the
vehicle handbook for instruction).
Attach the ISOFIX top-tether strap clip (d & e) to the anchor
point (f, g, h or i).

Pull the top-tether strap (a) until the tension indicator is green
(b). The strap is now adequately tensioned.

Removal is a reversal of step 14 - 17.

Feed the vehicle belt through the first backrest slot (a), over
the harness at the rear of the backrest (b) and through the
second backrest slot (c).
Place vehicle belt over the lap belt guide and fasten the
buckle (d).
20-
Tension the lap belt (a) and diagonal belt (b) then feed the
belt through the Group 1 diagonal belt guide (c).
IMPORTANT: The position of the vehicle seat belt buckle can
affect the stability of the child car seat. In an accident this
could stop the child car seat from protecting your child as
well as it should. After tightening the vehicle seat belt, if the
buckle lies in the position marked
car seat in another seating position in your vehicle. If in doubt
consult either the child car seat manufacturer or retailer.
Removal is a reversal of this procedure.
21-
The seat liner must be used with the child car seat until your
child reaches 15kg.

Open the harness (refer to step 5, a).
Remove the seat liner from the seat (b)
Disconnect the chest pad and shoulder strap connectors (c & d).
23-
Pull the shoulder straps through the backrest, then remove the
chest pads (a) and buckle clips (b).
Remove the harness strap (c, d & e).
Remove the buckle and crotch pad (f ).
Store the shoulder strap connector in the backrest cover (g).
Store the chest pad, harness strap, buckle clips, buckle, crotch
strap and seat liner away safely for future use.
