When you get a dial tone, press the memory location button to dial
the upper memory numbers or press LOWER button and then the
memory location button to dial the lower memory numbers.
CAUTION: If you make test calls to emergency numbers, remain on the
line and explain the reason for the call to the dispatcher. Also, make
these calls in off-peak hours, such as early morning or late evening.

DIALING LONG NUMBERS OF THE MEMORY

The phone is able to store 32 numbers in the memory and if you
want to store frequently used numbers or access codes for menu
services, such as an information line of a local bank, you may use
the Chain or link dialing to make it quickly.
The following examples assume that you have already stored ac-
cess codes in a memory location, and the security/personal code
in another one.

CHAIN DIALING

Follow these steps to Chain dial the number you have stored:
1. Press SPEAKER or pick up the handset.
2. Press the memory location wanted for access code.
3. Dial the phone number (or press the memory location button of
that number).
4. Press the memory location button for the security/personal code.
Dial numbers from memory when using the handset or speakerphone.
When you get a dial tone, press the Memory Dial and then the num-
ber of the memory location that has the number you want to call.

Flash Length

ADJUSTING THE LENGTH OF A FLASH
You can manually change the 0.6 second delay built into the default
setting of flash to adjust to a phone system requiring a different time.
