from above. Screw the four M8x16 set screws into the adjusting ring and secure the pin.
Settings for the telescoping arm
Fig. B
The telescoping arm is aligned with three checking dimensions (dimension „X).
Set up the telescoping arm parallel to the machine table.
Determine dimension „ X from the upper edge of the slide to the upper edge of the telescoping tube.
Rotate the telescoping arm by about 180".
Check dimension „X and, if need be, adjust using the Set screw (3), See „A.
Rotate the telescoping arm back by about 90°, measure, and adjust if necessary.
Control distance „X" must be the Same at all three rneasuring points!

Crosscut Table - Alignment
Fig. ,,E"
Place a straight lath -crossways over the sliding table carriage (3) and crosscut table (2).

Crosscut Table Fence Rail
Abb. ,,F"
The crosscut table fence rail can be attached at the front or rear outrigger of the crosscut table. For
long workpieces the fence rail can be attached to the rear outrigger of the crosscut table (see Fig. G). For
short workpieces the fence is attached to the front outrigger.
To attach the fence rail place the cylinder head (1) in the bore hole (2) in the crosscut table.
Screw in the lock nut (3) onto the fence rail from below through the slot in the crosscut table.
For diagonal cuts the fence rail can be aligned to the crosscut table scale by releasing the lock
nut slightly.
For perpendicular cuts the fence rail must be aligned to the saw blade.
Initial adjustment:
Set the fence rail at an angle of approx. 90" to the saw blade, make a trial cut and check the right angle.
Realign the fence rail if needed and make a trial cuts until the setting is correct. To lock the setting set the
stop in the fence rail and tighten.
