For brown-roasting, simply
leave the insert away.
FEATURES
Stainless steel pans have
outstanding cooking and frying
properties as they can be heated
to very high temperatures.
This makes them particularly
well suited to searing meat, e.g.
steaks.
BENEFITS
• Manufactured from 18/10 stain-
less steel
• Oven-safe, rigid, robust and
easy to clean
• Dishwasher-safe
• Suitable for all hob types –
including induction
• 5 year guarantee
NOTES ON SAFE USE
• First remove the adhesive label.
• Thoroughly wash the pan in hot
soapy water and dry it carefully.
• Do not use knives to cut food in
the pan. This can cause scratch-
es and incision marks, although
these do not affect the function
of the product.
• Do not leave pots and pans
unattended during use. Keep
out of the reach of children.
• Never heat an empty pan for a
long period: risk of overheating!
• Handles must not be positioned
above hot rings on the hob: risk
of burning!
• When using the product in the
oven, use potholders or oven
gloves.
• Take particular care when using
4
hot fat.
• Never use water to extinguish
burning fat.
• To extinguish burning fat, cover
the pan to suffocate the flames.
• To avoid accidents, the product
should only be used if the
handle is firmly attached. If the
screws have come loose, tighten
them using a screwdriver.
NOTE FOR ELECTRIC HOBS
To make better use of energy, the
diameter of the hob ring should
match that of the base of the pot
or pan.
NOTE FOR INDUCTION HOBS
An induction hob is an extremely
rapid source of heat.
Do not heat empty pots and pans
as these can be damaged through
overheating. At high tempera-
tures you may hear a buzzing
sound; this is due to the technolo-
gy. It does not represent a fault in
your hob or in the product.
The diameter of the base of the
pot or pan must match the size of
the cooktop on the induction hob.
If the base diameter is too small,
in particular, it may be the case
that the hob's magnetic field is not
activated.
CARE AND CLEANING
Stainless steel pots and pans are
robust and dishwasher-safe.
For stubborn food residue, first
soak in water to soften, then
remove the food with a sponge
or cloth.
Always dry the pan carefully. Very
hard water and a few foods may
cause scale marks or iridescent
blue discolourations on the inside
of the pan on the base. These
visual defects do not affect the
function of the product. They
can be removed using special
stainless steel cleaner for pots
and pans, or you can boil some
vinegar in the pan after use.
TIPS FOR CLEANING IN THE
DISHWASHER
Please ensure that no salt gets
into the interior of the dishwasher,
as too high concentration of salt
can corrode the product.
Extraneous rust from other pots
and pans can be transferred to
the stainless steel pan in the
dishwasher. If this is not removed
immediately at the end of the
dishwasher cycle, it may lead to
corrosion damage.
Take the product out of the
dishwasher as soon as possible
after the end of the cycle and dry
it. If left to dry naturally, spots can
form, although these do not affect
the function of the product.
