start using the appli-

ments in a safe place
for future reference.
3.1 Operator
■
Young people under 16 years
of age and people who do not
know the operating instruc-
tions are not allowed to use
the appliance. Observe any
country-specific safety regula-
tions concerning the minimum
age of the user.

Do not operate the appliance
if you are under the influence
of alcohol, drugs or medica-
tion.
3.2 Personal protective
equipment

Wear clothing and protective
equipment in accordance with
the regulations in order to
avoid injury to the head and
limbs as well as to avoid hear-
ing impairment.

The clothing must be appro-
priate (tightly fitting) and must
not restrict movements. If you
have long hair, it is essential
to wear a hair net. Never wear
loose items of clothing or ac-
cessories that be pulled into
the appliance, e.g. scarves,
loose-fitting shirts, long neck
chains.

■
Work only in daylight or under
very bright artificial light.
