Check and, if necessary, replace mains cord
Change the fuses (see Section 6.4)
NB: the device also contains two internal fuses which
the user cannot access. Contact the SATELEC After-
Sales Service (see Section 10.2)
Contact an electrician
Set the power supply switch (Figure 3, #6) to On (I)
Switch irrigation on using the keyboard key-switch
(Figure 8, #9) or the footswitch switch-button (Figure
6, #3)
Connect the irrigation line (see Section 4.3.c)
Adjust the flow rate setting (see Section 5.4.b or
5.5.b)
Disconnect the handpiece and check to see if fluid is
coming out of the cord:
- If not, contact the SATELEC After-Sales Service (see
Section 10.2).
- If it is, unscrew the tip from the handpiece, blow air
into the tip and handpiece. If the problem persists,
contact the SATELEC After-Sales Service of (see
Section 10.2)
Change the tip or the mode (in Piezotome function) or
power range (In Newtron function) (see Section 5.4.a
or 5.5.a)
Screw the tip back in again
Refer to the manual provided with the equipment
Replace the tip
Refer to the manual provided with the equipment

Push the handpiece in without turning it
Dry out the connector. If there is a black residue
around the connector pins and/or the handpiece
terminals, contact the SATELEC After-Sales Service (see
Section 10.2)
