MOUNTING YOUR MOTION SENSOR/TRANSMITTER
1. Turn OFF the power at the main fuse/
breaker box.
Note: Junction box must be at least 1-1/2˝ in depth
for proper installation.
2. Line up the holes on the mounting bracket with the
holes on your junction box. Using either (2) #6 screws
or (2) #8 screws (depending on size of the holes in
your junction box), attach the mounting bracket to
your junction box (Fig. 2).
3. Thread fixture wires through coverplate gasket.
4. Connect fixture black wire to house black wire, fixture
white wire to house white wire, and copper colored
ground wire (coming from the fixture coverplate) to
house ground wire using wire nuts provided.
5. Attach fixture to the mounting bracket using the
center bolt provided. Be sure no loose wires remain
sticking out from underneath the coverplate. Insert
plastic color matched plug in center bolt hole for
finished appearance.
6. Apply silicone caulking around edges of coverplate
and in any open holes to provide a watertight seal
from rain and moisture.
7. Install protective lamp covers onto lampholders by
lining up the nipples on the covers, over the
lampholder slots. Lock into place by twisting covers
counterclockwise (Fig. 3).
8. Insert gaskets into lampholders and screw bulbs into each
lampholder. (Do not overtighten bulbs).

Disconnect power at fuse or circuit breaker
before installing or servicing.
1. This mounting plate has been designed to work
with a variety of different junction boxes. Line up the
knockout holes in the mounting plate with the screw
locations in your junction box. Drill out the matching
holes in the mounting plate, using an electric drill and
a 1/8˝ drillbit or knock out the hole with a punch and
hammer.
2. Take the gasket included with this mounting plate and position it behind the
mounting plate. Line up the screws in the mounting plate with the appropriate
hole pattern in the gasket and remove gasket material in those holes. When
wall mounting, locate arrow on back of mounting plate and mount with arrow
pointing up.
