Transmitting
Connecting the PSM to the radio does not disable the radio's
microphone and PTT.
Removing the PSM from the Radio
1. Remove the PSM connector from the radio side
connector.
2. Remember to keep the rubber seal inserted in the
PSM's 3.5 mm jack when a secondary accessory is not
being used.
SERVICE
Other than the replaceable cable assembly, clip and antenna,
the PMMN4041/PMMN4042/PMMN4043/PMMN4047/
PMMN4048/PMMN4049 Public Safety Speaker Microphones
are not repairable. Order replacement PSMs as necessary.

Services Division (RPSD) or Motorola Accessories &
Aftermarket Division (AAD).
