Description
Left Hand Splash Guard
Right Hand Splash Guard
M4.2 x 20 Screw
M4.2 x 25 Screw
M4.2 U-nut
Rear Installation Procedure
Note: Do not use power tools to install splash guard
fasteners
1. Remove tire.
2. Clean and degrease body panel where splash guards are to
be located.
3. Remove existing screws at location (A) and (B). See fig 1.
4. Fold living hinge closed and while holding it closed place
splash guard to vehicle and install supplied M4.2 x 25
screws at locations (A) and (B). See figs 2 and 3.
5. While pulling splash guard rearward and inboard to insure
no gaps, drill a 13/64" (5.0 mm) hole at location (C).
Drill hole through splash guard and fascia. See fig 4.
6. Remove splash guard from vehicle and place supplied U-Nut
onto fascia at newly drilled hole location (C). Align U-Nut
with an awl to ensure the U-Nut is centered to the hole.
See figure 5.
7. Reinstall splash guard by repeating figs 2 and 3.
8. Install supplied M4.2 x 20 at location (C). See fig 6.
9. Repeat for other side.
10. Guards can be cleaned with any commercially available
cleaner.
NOTE: Max torque on M4.2 Screw is 3.0 N m
