Instruction Sheet
NOTE: Do not use power tools to install splash guard fasteners.
Installation Procedure
1. Turn front tire to provide clearance.
2. Clean and degrease body panel where splash guards are to
be located.
3. Remove existing screw from locations (A) and (B) and retain.
See figure 1.
4. Place supplied bracket to vehicle and reinstall screws at
locations (A) and (B). See figure 2.
5. Drill 1/4" (6.35mm) hole at locations (C), (D), and (E). Drill
13/64" (5.0mm) hole at location (F). Drill through bracket and
wheel liner. See figure 2.
6. Remove bracket and then place supplied u-nuts onto
supplied bracket at locations (C), (D) and (E). See figure 3.
7. Reinstall bracket to vehicle using existing fasteners at
locations (A) and (B). Install supplied M4.2 x 25 screw and
u-nut at location (F). U-nut should be used as a nut behind
wheel liner. See figure 4.
8. Place splash guard to bracket taking care to remove any
gaps to the vehicle and install supplied M4.2 x 20 screws w/
washers at locations (C), (D) and (E). See figure 5.
9. While pulling splash guard rearward and inboard to insure
no gaps, drill a 13/64" (5.0mm) hole at location (G). Drill hole
through splash guard and rocker molding. See figure 6.
10. Install supplied U-nut onto rocker inner reinforcement at
location (G) using an awl to align the U-nut with the hole.
See figure 6 and 7.
11. Install supplied M4.2 x 25 screw at location (G). See figure
6 and 7.
12. Repeat procedure for the other side.
13. Guards can be cleaned with any commercially available
cleaner.
NOTE: Max torque on M4.2 Screw is 3.0 N m
