Assembling the feet
Note: Make sure feet are installed with notches facing towards the front of the unit
and towards the centre.
Assemble one foot at a time using an identical approach for each.
A) Insert nipples at the top of the foot into the rubber caskets on the underside of the
casing and push foot firmly into place.
B) Place nut inside the hollow part as shown in illustration B (the shape of the nut
is visible in the moulding) and hold in place with finger.
C) Using the other hand, insert washer and bolt from the inside of the casing as
illustrated. Start screwing bolt by hand for first few turns then tighten using
the screwdriver.
D) Repeat steps B and C for second bolt.

Assembling the control module
A) Insert the air intake tunnel at the rear of the control module ensuring that the
notch in the casing is aligned with the corresponding ridge in the tunnel. Failing
to align the tunnel properly, insufficient air will be blown in the burner and very
poor performance will follow.
B) Slide the control module into the notches on the top of the feet, inserting first
the left side then the right. Check that the air intake tunnel is properly centred
and in contact with the rubber ring in the casing.
C) Where access to household current is available, simply plug the 110V or 220V
adapter supplied in a wall outlet and in the unit.
Note: A 12V to 6V adapter is also available as an option to use power from
vehicles, boats, etc.
D) Where no household current is available and for complete autonomy and
portability, insert four "D" (1.5V) batteries in the control module compartment. To
open the compartment, pull on the tab (point 1) and open in the direction of the
arrow (point 2). Close the compartment cover by pressing on the tab.
2
Assembling the lid
A) Attach the handle to the lid with the two screws provided.
B) Insert the ends of the swivel rod one at a time in the slots at the rear of
the casing, pushing the rod towards the centre.
C) Place the lid in the wind-guard position by inserting the lid side stops in
the notches on the casing. To achieve this, simply slide the lid towards
the back and drop it in place. Lifting the lid completely to drop it in the
notches makes it harder to put in place.
