Intended use

The FGGA0401WWE / FGGA04* Series solar siren is suitable for use with Friedland wireless alarm systems operating at
868 MHz only.
The siren uses a high-capacity, rechargeable main battery (NiMH). The solar panel on top of the housing charges the battery
during daylight hours. During darkness, only a small amount of energy is required to operate the siren. The siren is supplied
with an initial power-up battery (alkaline) to boost the initial power to the siren when the system is first activated until the solar
panel charges the rechargeable main battery.
The tamper switch will immediately trigger an alarm if any unauthorised attempt is made to interfere with and remove the
siren cover. An anti-jamming detection system will generate an alarm if any attempt is made to continuously jam the radio
channel used for the system.
