IMPORTANT! Please read these instruction
care-fully before using!
• Before using this panini maker, please read
this instruction manual carefully.
• Please keep these instructions, the warranty
options, the sales receipt and, if possible, the
carton with the inner packaging (in case you
need to return the unit)
• This panini maker is intended exclusively for
home and not for commercial use.
• Always remove the plug from the outlet
whenever the panini maker is not in use, when
attaching accessory parts, cleaning the panini
maker or whenever a disturbance occurs.
• Make sure panini maker is unplugged and
cool before storing. Pull on the plug, not on the
cable.
• In order to protect children from the dangers
of electrical appliances, never leave them unsu-
pervised with the panini maker. Consequently,
when selecting the location for your panini
maker, do so in such a way that children do not
have access to the panini maker. Take care to
ensure that the cable does not hang down.
• Check the panini maker and cable regularly
for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the
panini maker should not be used.
• Do not repair the panini maker yourself.
Take it back to the dealer (if dealer allows) or
send to service. Keep the panini maker and the
cable away from the heat, direct sunlight, mois-
ture and sharp edges.
• Never leave the panini maker unsupervised!

POLARIzED PLUG

This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other.) As a safety feature, this plug fits in
a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

ELECTRICAL CORD

The cord of this appliance was selected to reduce the possibility of tangling in or tripping over a longer
cord. Longer power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in
their use. If an extension cord is used: (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the product; (2) the extension cord should be arranged so that it will
not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can unintentionally be pulled on or tripped over by children
or pets.

SPECIAL SAFETY NOTES
• Beware that surfaces may become very hot
during and after use always use an oven glove
or clothe. Use the handles provided and do not
touch heating surfaces.
• Always ensure that the plastic drip tray is in
place before use, remove and empty the drip
tray before storing the unit.
• Put the unit down onto a heat-resistant sur-
face or mat.
• In order to prevent heat from building up,
make sure the unit is placed in a spacious, well
ventilated area.
• Beware of steam coming out when you open
the cooking section.
• Bread can burn, so never use the panini
maker near or below curtains and other flamma-
ble materials!
• A risk of fire and electrical shock exist in all
electrical appliances and may cause personal in-
jury or death. Please follow all safety instruc-
tions.
