Introduction to instructions and warnings
This manual is intended only for qualified
technical staff in charge with the machine
installation.
The informations in this Manual are not intended
for the final user.
This manual refers to batteries and battery
chargers of B71/BC, B71/BC/INT and B71/BC/
EXT series for control units B70/1DC, B70/2DC,
B70/2B and B70/2ML and should not be used for
other devices.

Carefully read this section before installing the

In order to prevent the risk of electrocution and

injuries, before performing any intervention on
17
the device, please cut off the power supply and
17
one of the two battery poles. To prevent the risk
of burning, be careful to avoid generating short
circuits on battery terminals by contact with
17
braces or rings.

The machine must be installed only by qualified
18
staff, following the standards in force.

Perform the connections using appropriate cables
18
for the required current and voltage, respecting the
18
technical features of the product.

When installing cable glands (or fittings) on plastic
19
containers, secure them tightely to prevent water
19
from entering the box.
The battery charger is supplied with the positive
terminal of the battery disconnected, to maintain
their charging state: the installer is, however,
responsible to check that the connectin is
correct.
In the event of reversed connection, the red
LED "DL1" turns on and the circuit enters
in thermal protection mode: disconnect the
battery immediately and execute the connection
correctly.
Please keep in mind that in the absence of
voltage, but with the batteries connected, the
output terminals of the battery charger are under
voltage; therefore, handle the cables connected
to them very carefully.
