System requirements

Windows® Vista/XP/2000, Mac® OS X:
No additional drivers are necessary for these operating systems. If you use Windows® 2000, make sure
that you have installed at least service pack 4; Windows® XP requires service pack 2 or above.
Please note that "Nero BackItUp 2 Essentials" is intended for use with Microsoft Windows® XP/Vista.

1) Startup
Your DataStation has a modern power-saving feature (Auto-Off-Technology) that invokes a standby
i
mode when the DataStation is not in use. The Auto-Off-Technology is activated automatically when
your DataStation is recognized by a computer. If you disconnect your DataStation from the power supply
(e.g. via a switchable multi-outlet power strip), the Auto-Off-Technology is deactivated. It is reactivated
the next time your DataStation is recognized by a computer.
