To convert your cooktop for use with LP gas, perform the following steps and procedures:
1. Disconnect electrical power to the cooktop. Unplug the cooktop power cord, trip
the circuit breaker, or remove the fuse from the fuse box.
2. Shut off the gas supply to the cooktop. Close the manual shut-off valve to the
cooktop.

Converting the pressure regulator
NOTE
If you are using LP gas to fuel the cooktop, the following steps and conversions
must be made before the flames can be adjusted.
1. Using adjustable wrench, turn the cap. And carefully look at the spring retainer
to locate the NAT or LP position.

2. The pressure regulator valve is set to NAT display by default when it leaves the
factory. Use your fingers to unscrew the gas setting nut, then turn it over to the
position of the LP display, install it on the cap with your fingers, and tighten it.
3. Screw the cap back onto the regulator and tighten.
